Book Club Discussion for Jaws by Peter Benchley

This months book is Jaws ... please do leave your thoughts and comments on the book here.

"The vintage thriller which inspired Stielberg’s blockbuster film. In a small Atlantic resort the mutilated body of a young woman, or what is left of it, washes up on a long, white beach. It is merely a harbinger of the horror that is about to unfold, as a sun-drenched holiday turns into a nightmare."

    Working late tomorrow so won’t be back in time for the meeting sadly. Read the book and I’m on the sharks side - I wish he’d eaten all the characters as they were all unbearable. Can tell it was written in the 70’s and it was basically about a guy having a midlife crisis and feeling emasculated and for some reason that became everyone’s problem. Only good bit was the shark POV in the first chapter - should have been more of that and less of Brody whining.
