Single person council tax discount

I wondered if anyone has had similar issues in applying for single person council tax. My local council have issues with my son not having a permanent address, and are therefore suggesting he is part of my household. I have given them his current address at HMS Collingwood but this will only be for 6 months. Can anyone advise?

    Good Afternoon, it would be worth checking with your local council again now that you have provided a current address to see if they need any further evidence. If so, if your serving person contacts their local UPO they will then be able to clarify about this and if need be, may be able to provide evidence that CILOCT is being paid in order to support your application. I hope that helps.
