Here is the space to share your thoughts and reviews of the Film Club chosen movies for this month. This is the space to share your reviews if you cant make the online meeting or wish to share your thoughts with a wider audience. 

I have not seen the film yet, but am looking forward to going and cant wait for us to review both films at the film club on the 14th September

    The End of Oak Street is another film Darren didn't want to see. I went with my friend Hayley and this is her review:

    This film is not my typical genre of choice, however I tried to go with an open mind. The start was very slow and at times frustrating but it did get better. There was the occasional bit of humour but an awful lot of running around without direction.

    Some bits were so unbelievable , it left me with lots of questions, why didn't they get provisions from empty houses? Why did the kids go outside into danger with no proper weapons? And the ending I just couldn't work out , how in the 1980's did the lead female actor manage to warn so many people from a payphone in a very short space of time?
    Overall, not a film I would choose to watch again but at times it was ok.
