Coming out of the Armed Forces, where many aspects of your life such as your housing, finance and employment are taken care of for you, can be an extremely daunting time for veterans. You are invited to join our four-hour packed event, where we will be highlighting the incredible support available to forces leavers and veterans as they embark on their transition from the Armed Forces into mainstream life.
At this drop-in virtual event, you’ll:
- Hear from Plymouth’s MP and Former Minister for Defence People and Veterans, Johnny Mercer MP.
- Find out about the wealth of community support available for veterans and hear from some of those organisations.
- Enjoy a session from Skills Launchpad Plymouth and the RFEA, all about the work they are doing to get forces leavers ready for their next career.
- Learning all about the Armed Forces Covenant and why it’s important for employers and their workforce.
