A partnership between Home-Starts in Cornwall, Devon and Portsmouth and funded by RNRMC has developed a digital support group for mums with a baby under a year.
The group is specifically for Navy and Royal Marines families.
The group, ‘Mellow Mums’, is delivered digitally, once a week for an hour, over eight weeks.
So far, the partnership has delivered two programmes with the next one set to start on Thursday 29th September from 10am.
The facilitated groups have proved a real success, allowing mums to connect with others in a similar situation, no matter where they are in the country.
The group aims to bring mum’s together and create a space where they can talk, get information, make new friends and create an ongoing digital support network.
