Young People within the Service community come together in the safety of the RN Forum.
Launching on Tuesday 14 April, during the Month of the Military Child, RN FPS Staff and Young People have been building an area which provides a bespoke space for all things to do with those aged 13 – 19.
Not only providing up to date and relevant information, the RN Forum Youth Group will offer the chance to engage with others within the RN Community away from external social media channels, providing peer-to-peer support, exchanging of ideas, debating the support available or new initiatives, taking part in online activities and making new friends.
Relocating as a young person can be daunting and upsetting, leaving your friends behind and having to make new friends. Being part of this group, you may make friends in the new area prior to moving.
Living away from a Naval Service Establishment and being one of few in school who experience military life could be isolating. Reach out and talk to others across the UK and Overseas, and discuss how we can help make this easier.
What are you waiting for? Discuss with your grown up and if you are interested, complete this form and we will set up an account for you and add you to the RN Forum Youth Group.
Please note: This group will be fully moderated and supported by RN FPS staff who all hold a Disclosure check and are fully trained in Safeguarding. It is also a hidden, password protected, invitation only group to ensure the safety of the members of the RN Forum Youth Group.
