Royal Navy Family & People Support (RN FPS) are proud to be supported by our registered volunteers who arrange, support and deliver various events /sessions across our Naval Service shore establishments.
RNRMC Volunteer Coordinators, support those that are interested in giving some time to the Royal Navy Community. Volunteers will complete a registration and induction process, ongoing training, and travel expenses. DBS certification is also included.
Volunteers work closely with RN FPS Community Development Workers and their Support Workers in producing ideas, planning, agreeing finances and running the activity/group with or without RN FPS in situ if you feel comfortable to do so.
Each year Volunteers are invited to Volunteer Appreciation and Celebration Events, such as one held in Culdrose. Liz Ford, Volunteer Coordinator shared:
“Thank you to our volunteers for attending our celebration event on Tuesday evening.
Such a great evening and fun quiz!
We are lucky to have such a wonderful team of dedicated volunteers at Culdrose. Without their help and support we would not be able to run our groups and put on as many events as we do to help support the military community.
Special thanks to Captain Hall for presenting our certificates of appreciation.”
