The Royal Naval Sailing Associations', Youth Crew project offers free sailing courses to the children and young people of serving RN, RM and RFA Families. 

Launched in 2024, Youth Crew is fully funded by Greenwich Hospital and delivered through the Andrew Simpson Foundation.

Beginner courses, participants receive their Swim Safe and RYA 1&2 certification and an Improver course, RYA 3&4 certification.

We also offer Residential courses, full funded with all food, accommodation, pastoral care and equipment provided free.

Once your course is completed, you will also receive 10 free sailing sessions to further your sailing journey. 

Portland:- 

Beginner and Improver courses 11/17 yrs old, Residential Beginner course 11/17 yrs and Improver course 11/17 yrs old. 

Reading:-

Beginner course 8/10yrs old  and  Beginner course 11/17 yrs old.

Children's Sailing Trust, Helford River, Cornwall:-

Beginner course 11/17 yrs old and  Improver course 11/17 yrs old 

Hull:- 

Beginner courses 11/17 yrs old. 

Birmingham:- 

Beginner course 11/17 yrs old and Improver course 11/17 yrs old.
