New MyNavy mobile app - Stay connected onshore and onboard

Available on the App Store and Google Play, MyNavy is now available to download as a mobile app, giving you the freedom to stay connected. The app will include features that you can access offline, so even when the internet's not available, MyNavy will be.

Whether you are at home or onboard, MyNavy gives you the ability to keep updated on announcements, look for future assignments, access learning, development and the Leadership Centre of Excellence which is packed with videos, podcasts, and training material that you can download and view in your own time.

Stay connected wherever you are in the world, the offline mode gives you the power to use some of the great tools currently available and ensures you get updates with a re-sync or once back online. When you’re ready for a new challenge, MyNavy will help you explore job opportunities, keep track of tasks, and allow you to explore your new location before you arrive.

“The heart of the Navy is its operational capability, and at the heart of that is the people who make it work.  It’s only fair then that we invest in these people, making things accessible to them and adding functionality that they value.  That’s why the native version of the app, which can be downloaded from Apple and Google Play stores, includes an offline mode which can be used to access some of the functions (with more being rolled out in the future) without being connected to the internet.” Head of Data and Navy Applications, Ben Holloway

Second Sea Lord and Deputy Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Martin Connell comments: “Everyone has asked me for more functionality with MyNavy, that’s why I’m delighted it will be much easier to use and access with more content to come this year”.
