A word from their CEO - Anna Wright

" As we wrap up an incredible year, I want to take the opportunity to express my sincere thanks for everything you’ve achieved in partnership with the Trust team. Your dedication, enthusiasm and commitment have made a tremendous difference—supporting serving personnel and their families, veterans and their loved ones, and those who have experienced loss.
We are truly humbled by the passion you bring to this work and so proud of the impact you’ve had.
This year has been one of remarkable progress and celebration as we marked 10 years of the Covenant Fund. We’ve awarded £29,037,314 in grants to 242 organisations, reaching and benefiting an estimated 370,000 people.
Here are just a few of the standout moments for us in 2025:
Our first place-based portfolio grant – bringing dedicated support to the submarine community in Faslane, a milestone we’re incredibly proud of.
An ambitious £2M portfolio grant – designed to transform the way in which the military bereaved are supported, ensuring they receive the help they need.
The launch of the Female Veterans’ Toolkit – introduced by the Minister for Veterans and People, a resource created to empower and uplift those who have served.
An innovative approach to grant design – commissioning a short, focused study to shape grant design for bereaved families and the submarine community, ensuring our work is informed and impactful.
As we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited to continue working with you to deliver even greater impact. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy a well-earned, peaceful festive break, recognising that some of you will continue supporting members of the armed forces community during this time.
Thank you for everything you’ve done to make this year extraordinary. Here’s to building on this success together in the year ahead!
Warmest wishes,
Anna Wright "
