Setting off tomorrow (Monday 3rd June 2024) to mark the 80th Anniversary of Operation Overlord, the Paddle Group will be departing from the Royal Marines Yomper at Eastney, Portsmouth in 2-man Klepper folding kayaks. They will conduct an English Channel crossing of 90 nautical miles through the night, arriving in Port-en-Bessin on Tuesday 4th June 2024.
Today (Sunday 2nd June 2024), the team were joined by Helen Fospero for a behind the scenes look at preparations for tomorrows paddle and what it means to the them.
