BF Adventures in Cornwall provided an activity day for our young leaders and young people as a thank you to all the support they provide to RN FPS.
“On Friday 29tth May BF Adventures in Cornwall provided an activity day for our young leaders and young people. The focus for the group was to have fun, thank the young leaders for everything they do to support RN FPS in the groups, build on communication, problem solving and listening skills, try new activities which they may not have experienced before. The day was funded through a grant from Lest we Forget.
The participants were able to enjoy the accessible zip line, loose a shoe and scream, taking it in turns to complete three attempts each. After lunch there was water sports with paddle boarding, kayaking, and canoeing. Although the day started a little cloudy, the weather improved with the afternoon ending in water fun making a perfect end to the day. All the young people and staff at BF Adventures were great fun.
The young people, supported by Fliss and Cathy, observed the activities, shared lunch, and chatted about all sorts of subject matter. BF Adventures staff were professional, engaging, and supportive, adapting teaching techniques to suit all participants.
