Nominations for the DDS annual Inspirational Woman in Defence Award 2023 are now open!

To mark International Women’s Day, Defence Discount Services are inviting all members of the Armed Forces community to nominate friends, family members or co-workers for the award.

Open to every woman who works in any area of defence – as well as veterans – you are invited to send your nominations to [email protected].

Entries are open from Wednesday 8th March to Friday 31th March.

Don’t forget to include a few lines about why you believe your chosen nominee should win.

Previous winners include LCpl Natasha Day RAMC in 2021 and former British Army Major and Physiotherapy Officer Sally Orange, who took the title in 2022.

The winner will be announced on Monday 24th April, receiving a £500 Virgin Experience Days voucher.
