Career/Jobs Fairs & Networking Opportunities:

Below are some of the career/jobs fairs taking place over the next few months suited to miliary spouses and partners. Also included are a few links for veterans and those transitioning from or leaving military service.

Career Fairs can be useful when you are starting out in work, changing career; looking to return to work; to see what trainee or apprentice options exist; or simply wanting to see what types of work are trending to help you decide what direction interests and suits you best. By attending events like these you often have the opportunity to speak directly with employers. This can help you in the following ways:

  • understand the variety of available opportunities, including required qualifications/experience

  • Whether they offer on the job training

  • Learn what each role job entails and how flexible they are in terms of work patterns or locations
