The RFS Career Academy support military spouses/partners and the Armed Forces Community. We have the following free programmes organised for 2024:
- A Mental Health and Wellbeing Programme starting in January 2024 to run virtually over the course of 6 weeks and overseen by a psychoeducational therapist. It will support spouses to learn techniques to cope with the demands of military life and cover topics such as separation, deployment, anxiety, and depression.
- Virtual Workshops covering confidence building, transferable skills, CV and statement writing, financial management and tech/cyber.
- Employability programmes with opportunities to learn about career pathways in organisations, gain real-time work experience and potential recruitment.
- Coaching and Mentoring Programme where spouses are matched with industry experts to achieve career goals.
- Up-skilling courses on a range of topics from digital marketing to tech/cyber.
In addition, the RFS Career Academy have secured a 40% bursary with the Online Business School which is available to military spouses and the Armed Forces Community looking to train or obtain qualifications.
