Jobcentre Plus is part of the Department for Work and Pensions and offers a number of programmes and services providing help with employment, benefits, loans and grants.
As part of the Armed Forces Covenant many Jobcentre Plus regions have an Armed Forces Champion with the role of providing a strategic link between Jobcentre Plus and the Armed Forces Community. They are the main point of contact for the Armed Forces to tackle issues or problems relating to employment and work-related benefits, such as Jobseeker's Allowance.
