The Military Provost Guard Service (MPGS) offers Royal Navy personnel the opportunity to continue serving in a military environment while providing armed security at Defence establishments across the UK.
Operating at over 130 tri-service locations throughout England, Scotland and Wales, the MPGS plays a vital role in protecting Defence assets, personnel and infrastructure. The role is ideally suited to Service Leavers who wish to retain many of the benefits of military life while enjoying increased stability and remaining part of the wider Defence community.
MPGS personnel undertake armed guarding duties, access control, patrols and incident response tasks, while continuing to wear uniform and work alongside serving military personnel.
