Use the "Childcare Checker" to help you find local child care providers or wrap-around-childcare together with the associated costs which can help you with budgeting. 

Please also see the RN Forum article relating to the new Defence childcare scheme, the UK Nursery Authority (UKNA), which supports eligible working Service families who live in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Tax Free Childcare:

 Tax-Free Childcare can help with the cost of paying for childcare.

You’ll need to set up a childcare account, which both you and the government will pay into. You can then use this money to pay your childcare provider. FIND OUT MORE:  Tax Free Childcare 

Universal Credit:

You may be able to claim Universal Credit to pay some of childcare costs, depending on your joint income. For more information, eligibility and how to claim, see gov.uk/guidance/universal-credit-childcare-costs

NB: If you are in receipt of Universal Credit you cannot claim Tax-Free Childcare
