Life in a Royal Marines family can bring unique challenges, particularly when raising a child or young person with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Deployments, separation, changing routines and the demands of service life can add extra pressures to the everyday realities of parenting.

Nurturing Anchors, delivered by KIDS, provides free, tailored support for Royal Navy and Royal Marines families with children and young people with SEND. We understand that every family's circumstances are different, and our aim is to help parents and carers feel supported, develop practical strategies and connect with others who understand their experiences.

Open to - Navy and Marines families - parent carers including veterans, and their children with SEND, aged 0 – 25.
