As the year draws to a close our attention will naturally be turning towards Christmas.

Last year many civilian families learned what people in service have known for generations: being separated at this time of year is hard. 

Even if you don’t celebrate, the constant reminder that this is a time for seeing loved ones can make absences hurt all the same. 

We thought we’d take the opportunity to remind you that we are here to help.

Is your partner away on deployment? Our children’s books help your young ones cope with missing a parent, and remind them they'll be reunited soon. 

We’ve also put together some tips on how you can celebrate as a family, even if you can’t all be together.
