The Royal Navy Royal Marines Widows’ Association supports those who have lost a recognised partner who is serving or has served in the Royal Navy or Royal Marines.

All who have experienced loss are welcome to join, regardless of the circumstances surrounding the death.

Aims of the Association:

• To offer support and friendship to the bereaved whose spouse/recognised partner was serving in the Royal Navy or Royal Marines at the time of their death.
• To help the bereaved and their children to ensure they are recognised by Royal Navy and Royal Marine related organisations.
• To work with the Royal Navy and Royal Marines and the Ministry of Defence to improve their approach to bereavement.
• To ensure representation by sharing experiences and suggestions in a bid to shape change, primarily via the Defence Bereaved Families Group.
