Anxious Minds provides immediate and long-term support through a wide range of evidence-based, person-centred interventions for individuals experiencing mental health challenges, suicidal crises, trauma, abuse, addiction, and poverty-related distress. Services include one-to-one therapy, crisis counselling, addiction recovery support, practical advice services, and specialised recovery programmes for veterans and the wider community.
Operating from centres in North Tyneside and Northumberland, the charity also delivers Peer-Led support groups and outdoor therapy from its Veteran Recovery College as part of its holistic approach to recovery. These initiatives help reduce isolation, build community connections, and promote physical and emotional well-being in a non-clinical setting.
