The National Film Club is a project for service communities across the United Kingdom and overseas.

We meet on MS Teams once a month to share our thoughts and views on the films chosen for each month. This months meeting 14 Apr 2025 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

The choice of films to watch this month are:

Cinema Film: ‘Mikey 17’. A dark comedy about Mikey 17, known as an ‘expendable’ goes on a dangerous journey to colonise an ice planet. Or ‘Black Bag’ When intelligence agent Kathryn Woodhouse is suspected of betraying her nation, her agent husband faces the ultimate test of whether to be loyal to his marriage, or his country.

Home Film: ‘Beautiful Fantastic’. A young woman who dreams of becoming a children’s book author starts an unlikely friendship with a cantankerous, rich old widower.
