Free Online Relationship Support Sessions for Serving and Veteran Naval Couples

Free support for your relationship giving you opportunity to explore a range of topics including communication styles, managing conflicts, and intimacy, as well as the unique challenges Naval life can bring to relationships.

Participating couples will have the opportunity to explore key aspects of their relationship, including communication, conflict management, and intimacy. The course also examines the unique role Navy life plays in relationships, with particular focus on the challenges and impact of deployments.

Through a mix of group discussions and dedicated time for private conversations with their partner, couples can reflect on their relationship in a supportive environment. Sessions are led by experienced relationship support specialists and trained facilitators from Marriage Care, who have extensive experience delivering relationship services.

The course is delivered by Marriage Care and funded by RNRMC.

Serving Personnel and Veterans, can be couples or individuals. Despite the charity name, couples and individuals do not have to be married to participate.  Couples can attend with their partner, or alone, should they be deployed or have other work commitments.

Group course dates: Six consecutive weekly sessions: Oct 12th, 19th, 26th, Nov 2nd, 9th and 16th. All sessions will begin at 1930. Most are around 1.5 hours in length, with one slightly longer (1hr 50mins).  Individual couple sessions: In the case of individual-couple sessions the facilitator will contact the couple directly to arrange a mutually convenient time to hold the sessions.
