Royal Mail have confirmed that staff members who are part of the CWU have voted in favour of industrial strike on the following dates:

26 August 2022

31 August 2022

8 September 2022

9 September 2022

If strike action does take place, subsequently the Royal Mail service provided to BFPO customers will be disrupted.

BFPO customers utilising Royal Mail during these dates, are advised that any industrial action may cause a delay to mail transit and may impact the overall delivery timeframes. Services offered by Parcel Force and Express Couriers are currently not affected and customers using these services should not anticipate an impact in the delivery of their items.

BFPO customers are advised to plan ahead and allow additional mail transit time for time sensitive items. BFPO will continue to notify and advise customers of any future industrial action and its impact.
