In January we rolled out a new way to apply for assistance on-line, using the Lightning Reach portal, which is also being used by The Royal British Legion and The RAF Benevolent Fund. This system is already proving its worth with many applications coming to us direct, allowing swift assessment, decision and then response to those who need our help. The Grants Team of Sam Allardyce, Tracy Mawer and Simon Brickell have handled more applications than at any time in the last four years, with Phil Shuttleworth and Chrissie Hughes following up to offer holistic support and guidance to our people.
