SSAFA's Faslane Service Committee is looking for a volunteer Secretary

Do you get a kick out of admin and organising? Are you a multi-tasker with good communication and IT skills? If so, we'd love to hear from you! You don't need an Armed Forces background, just a desire to support the serving community. We are looking for a Secretary to join our SSAFA Service Committee at Faslane.

The Secretary is a key member of the team, keeping things running with administration. This role involves organising and recording team meetings, supporting with general planning and events administration.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of SSAFA. We have been involving volunteers in supporting the Armed Forces community for more than 130 years. Our beneficiaries come from all backgrounds and age groups and the number of people contacting us for help rises each year. To continue providing help when its needed most, we need an excellent administrator to facilitate team activities and meetings for a few hours a month.

Would you like to support your local serving community? Do you have a few hours spare each month or are you looking for a new challenge? SSAFA's volunteer-led Service Committee at Faslane is recruiting. If you would like to help support the serving community in the area, please do get in touch. It's not a huge commitment but you could make a real difference to lives of serving personnel and families living in Faslane.
