The Royal Naval Association (RNA) is the biggest collective group of Royal Naval veterans and serving personnel. We provide those with a link to the Royal Navy access to a life-long community of like-minded and supportive individuals. Our community provides companionship, resilience, comradeship and unity to anyone and everyone with a Naval story, supporting them through life's highs and lows.

Established by Royal Charter in 1954 and with the central tenets of Unity, Loyalty, Patriotism and Comradeship, The Royal Naval Association (RNA) is the largest of the Naval Associations with over 12,000 members spread over some 250+ Branches in the UK and overseas.  Sharing the same mindset and language, the RNA leads on bringing the wider family of Naval Associations together and chairs the Conference of Naval Associations.

Completely free to join, full Membership is open to anyone who has served or is serving in the Naval Service (RN/RM/Reserves/RFA/WRNS/QARNNS/RNXS, etc) while Associate Membership is also available for family members and those supportive of the Naval Service and the Objects of the Association.  The heart of the RNA is to be found in our Branches where like-minded shipmates meet to enjoy each other’s company and look out for each other’s welfare.
