Naval Children's Charity Social Media Study Request for Volunteers

The Veterans and Families Institute (VFI) at Anglia Ruskin University are looking for Naval families to take part in a research project focused on communication between children, partners and serving parents during separation, looking from traditional communication methods (i.e., emails, phone calls and letters) to the use of internet-based technologies (i.e., FaceTime, Skype, Instant messaging and social media).

VFI are looking for:
• Naval children aged between 11-21 years
• Naval spouses of current serving personnel with children under 18
• Recent Naval service leavers (left in the past 3 years) with children under 21 years

They are inviting families to take part in short virtual interviews and focus groups. This research is funded by the Naval Children’s Charity and will help them and other organisations to better support military families during separation
