2022 World Uckers Championships – 29th October 2022 – Portsmouth.

The 2022 World Uckers Championships will be held in Portsmouth on the 29th October 2022.

Current Uckers World Champion, Bob Field, is urging teams to register their place early as 22 teams have already registered for the competition so far!

Bob said, ‘Uckers is back, should any of you wish to have a crack at the title and take on the giants of the game, get those dice loaded!’

Uckers is a board game similar to Ludo, thought to have been played by Royal Navy Sailors from around the early 1940’s. Usually played by either two or four Sailor, rules may differ depending on which branch of the Navy the players are from.

You will still find an Uckers board below decks in crewrooms of Her Majesties Royal Navy Ships today, as well as other Navies and a few RAF and Army units around the UK.

The World Champions ‘The Ludo Two’ are already practicing and are already proclaiming that another victory is certain this year! So if you believe you can ‘eight piece’ the current champions get your ‘timber shifting’ selves registered.

Don’t forget, ‘snake eyes all out!’
