Service Families Accommodation (SFA) Applications

Applications for SFA are made by the service person using the electronic (e) 1132 MOD Form on the Defence Intranet. For data security reasons the electronic e-1132 is only accessible when logged on to a MOD computer system that has access to the Defence Intranet. All Service personnel are expected to use the online e-1132 form unless on operations or do not readily have access to the Defence Intranet.

  • Track the progress of your application
  • Book your move in date, once you have accepted an offer of a home
  • Electronically sign your Licence to Occupy
  • Book the move out appointment for your current home if relevant

To be entitled for SFA at your serving location you must:

  • Be aged 18 or over,
  • Married or in a civil partnership or have permanent custody of children,
  • A serving person with at least 6 months left in service,
  • If you are a single serving person or in an established long-term relationship (LTR(E)) you may also have eligibility to cohabit in surplus SFA. An LTR(E) must be defined by specified criteria and recorded as such on JPA by your unit HR.
